ETG offers an extensive array of vertically integrated manufacturing processes to provide single source solutions for our customers manufacturing challenges.  Requirements for heat treat, machining, welding, assembly, finishing and inspection can be achieved; all directed by ETG Engineers experienced in project management from conception through completion.  Our services support developmental projects, as well as long running programs.

MACHINING

ETG Capabilities:

  • 5-Axis High Speed Milling to 5m diameter
  • 5-Axis Long Bed High Speed Milling to 4m diameter
  • CNC Turning / Milling 3-5 Axis, up to 270” (6,858 mm) diameter swing.  18,000 RPM Spindle
  • Electrode Discharge Machining (EDM)
  • Honeycomb Grinding
  • Inline Machining on Spin Lathe
  • Wire and Plunge EDM

ETG precision machining capabilities are strengthened with Vericut to further validate posted programs:

  • Vericut is setup up for machine simulation, encompassing both the equipment as well as the product being machined
  • This provides an added level of risk mitigation for the machining process

  • Capable to 1200°F to 2300°F   (649°C to 1260°C)

Aluminum Heat Treat

  • Drop Box Furnaces
  • Capable to 250°F to 1050°F  (121°C to  566°C)
  • Water and Water/Glycol Quench
  • Temperature uniformity to +/-  5° F for all ranges
  • Part diameter up to 214” (5,436 mm)

Vacuum Brazing

  • 72” x 42” x 42” (1,828 mm x 1,067 mm) hot zone
  • Capable to 2200F (1,204C)
  • Certified from 900F to 2150F  (482°C to 1,177°C)
  • Partial pressure capability
