The statue is beautifully painted in matte colours of blue, pink, yellow, flesh tone and brown with a red heart and gold accenting. I think that the figure is made of bisque porcelain that is affixed to a glazed porcelain base. The only marking is the number 52 on the interior base, but I think that this is of French origin, but possibly German. The piece measures 10 3 4
