A stunning chair designed by Hans Wegner in 1952 as a departure from his normal favoured material, solid timber. The seat on the chair is laminated plywood, a material favoured by Fritz Hansen the producers of the chairs and something they were keen to get Wegner to use. This turned out not the be the case and Wegner only designed the one series of dining chairs
