Adams Pearmain Year:2 YR A round greenish-yellow fruit withA late season eating apple that can be used for cider. Medium sized conical shape, deep yellow with red streaks and some russeting. Good balance of acidity and sweetness with a nutty flavour and fresh apple aroma. Moderately vigorous. Will store until early spring. Originally from Norfolk or Herefordshire, first introduced to the Royal Horticultural Society of London by Robert Adams in 1826. Also known as Hanging Pearmain due to the fruit hanging late
