A good large George III nightstand or bedside table. arts and crafts DIMENSIONS:A very nice George III mahogany tray top night or bedside table, with tambour shutter (typical of the late 18th century), over a drawer with original handle and the whole raised on moulded square legs. Originally, the drawer would have pulled out, splitting the front legs to form a seat with a toilet bowl within. As is often the case, this has been adapted, at some early point in its life, into a much more useful drawer. Would work well as a bathroom
