Individual bending abilities like Waterbend, Earthbend, Firebend, and Airbend can work outside the set, sure but Avatar Aang himself becomes much harder to build around effectively, especially if your goal is flipping him consistently

It doesnt even want to hang around the field necessarily since its second ability sacrifices it to exile a card from a graveyard

Just irks me

its a two mana exile and often strands a land or noncreature spell in play, unable to be cast
