大正時代のゆらゆら硝子の丸蓋を煎茶碗に見立てたものです。同じような大きさのものでは同時代の硝子の菓子型などがありますが、口縁が鋭利で杯とするには難しいのですが、本品は口のあたりが丸く作られてあり、茶杯に代用できます。
